Stock Market Information » Trading Options

Options are risky.  The textbook definition of an options is that they are financial contracts that convey the right, but not the obligation, to engage in a future transaction between two parties (the buyer and seller). There are two types of options that will be discussed on this blog , American call options and American put options.  We will be describing call and put options in far more details in this sections.

In this section we will also be writing about the various fee structures for options trading online.  Online stock brokers generally have a set price per option trade plus a designated price for each contract that is bought or sold.

Options are not for beginners due to the risk involved in trading them.  Although a lot of money can be made quickly in options the same amount can also be lost just as fast.  For this reason it is necessary to do the proper research when beginning to trade options.
